The Carnaval has already started in Rio. It's time to get on the look and think about that fantasy or special look to shine on the blocks, the dances, the Earthquakes and the stands of the Intendant Magellan and the Sambódromo

The most brilliant, transparent and cheerful season of the year calls for productions to celebrate the date. There's a lot of glitter, rock, color and volume.

It also has applications, overlaps, fringes, ruffles and adornments to adorn the head. Accessories, bodies, implements, or that simple detail in the hair also help transform any look.

Address that attracts fashion producers and costume specialists, the Sociedade dos Amigos da Rua da Alfândega (Saara) brings together several shops with popular priced items and full costumes.

Babado da Folia, Kidney and Aidan Parties are among the options in the route of the most popular open-air commercial hub in the city. All the stores have online sales, but let's face it, it's a good thing it's a kick in the ass.

Specialized in customizing T-shirts and accessories, the brand Dimone launches its first collection of carnaval in partnership with designer Ana Regal.

The designer designed exclusive pieces for the brand, famous for providing T-shirts for dozens of city blocks, including names like Black Ball, Sergeant Pepper, Fire and Passion, Forget Me, Monobloco, among others, but wants to go beyond this year.

" They are democratic pieces, for many audiences, with design and good modeling, which cost from R$29.90 to R$129.90, available in a grid from P to GG" explains Ana Regal.

From clothes to accessories, there are teams of artisans, designers, designers and fashion students who also invest in the creations of Carnaval.

Aline Andrade, do Atelier Ground of Gaia, produces scintillating accessories and full of style, with paetês, flowers and chains, as the line of Ombeiras Babadeiras, from R $ 140.

Also the earrings of the series Shine, from R $ 34.90.

The pedagogue Eliete Manso also produces jewelry and accessories of carnaval as tiaras, elastics, clips and hair clips, which cost R$ 7, each. "Intuitive creation, lightness and good taste" make up the formula, according to the artisan, in the making of the pieces, marketed on his Instagram page, @eliartecraft or by linktr.ee Eliete Manso. The deliveries are made from R $ 30 in purchases.

Brand owner Ana Flor, the entrepreneur and artisan Rosangela Souza works with jewelry and accessories afro.

Six years ago, he launched arches and tiaras of carnaval, which became fever. Since then, it supplies the looks of folia with its products. For this year's Carnaval, Rosangela has launched clothing items that have been marketed since Christmas.

To the earring line (from R$ 15), arches (from R$ 49 to R$ 175) and turbans (from R$ 25), among other head accessories, were added tops (from R$ 30), hotpants (R$ 50), kimonos (from R$ 79) and shoulder pads (from R$ 70), which make up full looks of Carnaval and have also succeeded among the foliões.

All products are on sale at fashion fairs, in the streets around the road blocks and in a booth that works as a fixed point of sale in Largo do Machado, next to the exit B do Metrô, Monday to Saturday, from 10h to 18h.

"The goal is to enhance the beauty of women in general, and give visibility and relevance to the Afro way. If I could, I would do carnaval all year long, but unfortunately it is not financially viable," says Rosangela.
Black representativeness is also the subject of the brand Devasses From Ligia Parreira, 20 years ago in the fashion market. Member of the collective Pop Afro, black talent pop up that ended up settling in the Madureira Shopping, where it has been for three years, Ligia believes in the potential afrocreator and fights to give popularity to artists and designers of the suburb of Rio.

The relaxation and good humor are present in Devassas collections, which are imposed in order to break the current fashion patterns with exclusive collections. The purpose, according to Ligia Parreira, is to promote 'suburbanity' and dress autonomous women, who exercise self-esteem and the joy of being what they are.

"I like to make prints that run away from the commonplace. The brand is made for all people who want to fight for equality and freedom to be and think. The name Devassas is precisely to provoke, devastate prejudices, patterns, taboos, confront the racist, fat and macho molds of the market."

The insertion of the label into the universe of folia began seven years ago, unintentionally, with the stamps of bags, which initially did not appear with the proposal to be used in the Carnaval, but to bring irreverence to the collection.

"They were bags of popcorn and St. Cosme and St. Damian, stamped on their clothes, and they became classics of my collection. But customers bought and used it at Carnaval. From there I began to create with this goal," explains Ligia, who sells bodies for R $ 175 and thematic heads for R $ 75.
The designer also created a line of prints for "the sweet and hot woman", focusing on female empowerment and self-esteem.

"It's a whole line of brigadier drawings, churros, ice cream, cookie. Customers love it!"

In addition to the copyrighted items produced by independent craftsmen and artists, several retail brands have also launched special collections for the Carnaval, with pieces to update the look or accessories to cast the multicolored look.
They are collections filled with trends, with brightness and volume, to fill the streets, stands, clubs and cabins with style. It can be the complete look or just a stylish shirt, and the models dress well any type and shape of body.

Among the brands that have developed special collections of carnaval are the Canton, who invested in bodies, sets and props. And the C&A, which also has in its catalog of carnaval varied items such as themed shirts, accessories, dresses, pants, bodies and even socks.

A Renner also capriced in the collection of carnaval. Highlight for the unique front body, with pierced collar and leaked in multicolors, a charm! It's $139.90.

Among pioneers in special collections of Carnaval, the Farm prepares for the arrival of the party in style and expects to see his clothes, costumes and accessories in productions by blocks, parties and the like.

By hitchhiking at the celebration of the 20 years of brand creation, Dress To also comes into climate of carnaval and presents the mini-collection Carna Dress, perfect for those who want to join the folia. Between the pieces, two dresses, three bodies, a set of tops and pants and another tops with hotpant and a tulle and pate shirt, in addition to earrings, which can be worn with or without costumes. Shining materials and embroidered tulle complete the collection.

“ We created the collection very above the mood of the street blocks and the parties that take place at night. Our inspiration was at the Retro Carnaval Balls”, says Thati Amorim, founder and CEO of Dress to.
