Suel, Rust and Beautiful: Earthquake of samba will have five days followed by shows during official period of carnaval of Rio

Samba Nelson's Grounder Sergeant enters his second weekend of the 2026 season, with five days followed by carnaval shows. Stars such as Suel, Ferrugem and Belo will lead the party on stage, which bears the name of the singer, composer and percussionist João da Baiana, between February 13 and 17. With tickets from R $ 15, the expectation is that about 50,000 people participate in the celebrations promoted by Sesc RJ in Praça Eleven.

In addition to consecrated names of Brazilian music, Terreirão will also have the participation of the new generation of samba and pagoda, during the official period of carnaval in Rio.

The singer Fabinho will start the party in Terreirão on Friday (13). The day will also feature presentations by Fabinho and Suel. On Saturday (14), Gamadinho, David Lent and Peter Menezes take over space. Already on Sunday (15), Vitinho and Rugão promise to animate the place with bursting successes in the country.

The singer and composer Belo, icon of the romantic pagoda since the 1990s, is one of the most expected names of Terreirão and will lead the stage with his romantic hits on Monday (16) of carnaval - the day will also count with Gabrielzinho and Family Diniz. On Tuesday (17), Yan, I will Zuar and Arlindinho close the first drums of shows during the official period of parties in the city.

Terreirão will also have activities on 20 and 21 February, with consecrated names of samba and pagoda. In all, about 50 artists will pass through the classic stage, which is next to the Sambódromo, where will be happening simultaneously the show of samba schools of the Gold Series (old Access Group) and the Special Group, in Marquis de Sapucaí.
