Samba Land confirms programming with great names of samba and pagoda in Carnaval 2026

The Earthquake of Samba was once again established as one of the main meeting points of the Rio Carnaval in 2026. With a program that brings together great names of samba and pagoda, the space celebrates Brazilian popular music and reinforces the tradition of the party off the avenue. Located in the vicinity of the Marquis de Sapucaí, the Terreirão will again be the stage of shows that promise to animate the public throughout the carnival period.

This year, the space receives the public in ten days of programming, on days 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20 and 21 February, turning the central region of the city into a great hub of music, meeting and joy during the Carnaval.

Traditional in the official calendar of the folia, the Terrareirão do Samba consolidated as a popular access space, where revelers and samba lovers can experience the essence of the Carnaval carioca in an environment that mix samba wheel, shows and party. The proximity to the Sambódromo makes the site a strategic point both for those who arrive to accompany the parades in Sapucaí and for those who leave the Passarela do Samba in search of attractions in the post parade.
