Rio restaurant among the 50 best in the world

The Lasai restaurant, located in the Humaitá neighborhood, has won an unprecedented achievement for Rio cuisine: it was elected the 28th best restaurant in the world in the prestigious list The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, released on June 19, during the ceremony held in Turin, Italy.

Headed by chef Rafael Costa e Silva, Lasai was the only Brazilian restaurant to be among the top 50 placed this year, reinforcing the role of Rio as a destination of excellence also in gastronomic tourism.

In addition to this international recognition, the Lasai boasts two Michelin stars, confirming its prominent place among the main temples of high gastronomy in the world.
