Arrival of Santa Claus in Yup Star

On December 5, 12 and 19, the Rio Ferris wheel, Yup Star, receives the awaited arrival of Santa Claus. The schedule starts at 4:00 and goes until 6:00. Don't miss this unprecedented and special moment!

• Vila do Noel in Parque Bondinho Pão de Açúcar

From 5 to 25 December, Nice Park Pão de Açúcar receives Vila do Noel, in the Mirante Maria Ercilia, with Christmas setting and activities for the whole family. The program includes a letter shop, a joke shop, a gift show and photos with Santa Claus.

The activities work daily from 11:00 to 6:00, and Santa will be present every day from 11:00 to 7:00.

Special Christmas Programming in Rio Biopark

From 11 to 14 December, the Rio Biopark promotes special programming with educational activities and appearances of Santa Claus. On the 11th and 12th, the public can participate in the Paper Toy Workshop, where children and families create paper toys inspired by animals.

Already on the 13th and 14th, the Good Old Man circulates through the park from 10:30 to 13:30, while also the action takes place The Snoring of the Forests, alluding to World Monkey Day, with activities on the bugs and an interactive puzzle-shaped board.

In addition to Christmas attractions, visitors can explore permanent spaces such as the Axolots Kingdom, dedicated to environmental education and conservation of the Mexican amphibian.

AquaRio premiere high season with special Christmas programming

O AquaRio starts December with extended hours (9h to 17h) and a Christmas schedule that includes thematic decoration, educational actions and the presence of Santa Claus. The Good Old Man will be in the aquarium on 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23, from 10:30 to 13:30, in addition to the traditional diving in the Great Ocean Tank on 22, 23 and 24/12, at 10am, and on the 25th, at 2pm.

The agenda also includes educational workshops, conservation activities and the Polos Animals exhibition, open throughout the month.

In addition to Christmas attractions, the public can visit the circuit with 10,000 animals, the Kingdom of Axolotes, the Wax Museum, the Sea of Mirrors and the Globe Experience (GEX).

National phenomenon since 2023, the show arrives at the Riachuelo Rio Theatre on Thursday, 04/12, with special edition of Christmas. Largo de São Francisco will receive a free Christmas concert with the UFRJ Symphony Orchestra and the UFRJ Choir, which close the 2025 season in the monumental Church of San Francisco de Paula.

The event takes place on December 11, at 18h, promoted by Sérgio Castro Realveis in partnership with the Third Order. Under the rule of conductor André Cardoso, the repertoire will bring Christmas classics in one of the most imposing temples in the Center.

Fair The Market - Special Christmas Editions

The Market, fair that 15 years ago brings together local creators, decided to bet on the tropical climate and in the carioca summer to make their last edition of the year. Altogether there will be more than 100 artists, designers, artisans and designers divided into two weekends to meet the public looking for creative gifts and looks for parties. The event will take place on days 6, 7, 13 and 14 December, from 11h to 19h, at the Institute of Architects of Brazil, at Flamengo. Free entrance!

The participating brands were invited to create products inspired by the sea, so prepare to find many fish (stamp that is the trend of summer 2026), bikinis, mermaids, shells and fresh clothes.

To complete the tour, the space has flash tattoo and a charming dining area. On the menu fresh handcrafted options such as bread, cookies, sweets, antepastes, cheeses, jams and sandwiches.
