The Independent League of Samba Schools in Rio de Janeiro (LIESA) announced the opening of a new batch of tickets for the Special Group parades at the Marquis de Sapucaí, starting at 9 a.m. next Sunday, October 19. The release meets the high demand of Brazilians and tourists interested in ensuring a place in the largest open-air show on the planet.
The new consignment of tickets was defined after a technical inspection carried out in partnership with the company responsible for sales, with the aim of ensuring transparency, security and convenience to the public. The action reinforces LIESA's commitment to offer an organized and accessible experience to those who want to live the excitement of the Rio Carnaval closely.
Record sales and growing expectation for Carnaval 2026
The first batch of tickets, released in July, ran out in just five hours, marking one of the biggest sales successes in LIESA's recent history. About 80% of entries were quickly marketed, confirming the great interest of the national and international public in the parades of the Special Group schools.
In 2026, the Marquis de Sapucaí will again be the stage of this great feast. The parades take place on 15, 16 and 17 February, and the Champions Parade is scheduled for Saturday, February 21. Check out the official order presentations:
