You can prepare the butcher! Some of Latin America's most celebrated chefs come to Rio for the second edition of Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants in town and it's gonna be a real feast. One of the most prestigious gastronomic celebrations on the continent. The program parallel to the ceremony (day 26/11 at Jockey) brings together some of the successful chefs and surnames in prestigious houses in the Rio scene. Among them, six dinners with various hands of (Saturday) and 27 November (Wednesday). Check out the programming at the end of the story.

Rio is the birthplace of Bossa Nova and home of Cristo Redentor, is there a better host? The second most populous city in Brazil, known as tourists worldwide for its beaches, carnaval and caipirinhas. It has a rich gastronomic history formed, evolved and developed through indigenous, European, African and Asian influences. Quite a fate!

23/11 - Dinner at Yayá Comlimentaria, with hostess Andressa Cabral and Jaime Rodríguez, Colombian chef and owner of Celle – No.16 on the list.

24/11 - Dinner at Cipriani, with host Nello Cassese (No.95) and David Castro Hussong and Maribel Aldaco Silva, Mexican chefs and owners of Fauna – No.5 on the list.

24/11 - Dinner at Lilia, with host Lucio Vieira and Juan Luis Martínez, Peruvian chef and owner of Mérito – No.13 on the list.

26/11 - Lunch in Ocyá, with the host: Geronimo Athuel (No.96 on the list) and María Elena Marfetán, Uruguayan chef and owner of Lo de Tere – No.66.

27/11 - Dinner at Oseille, with host Thomas Troisgros and Álvaro Clavijo, Colombian chef at El Chato – No.2 on the list. Dinner at Aprazível, with hostess Ana Castilho and Fulvio Miranda, Panamanian chef and owner of Cantina del Tigre – No.25.
