Last technical test weekend

The technical trials of the samba schools of Rio arrive at the last weekend with an infectious energy, marking the final straight for the long awaited parade of Carnaval. For weeks, the associations prepare to shine in the Marquis of Sapucaí, and the trials have been the opportunity to adjust details, test the public's reaction and ensure that all components are in tune for the big day.

In this last weekend of technical trials, the expectation is even greater, as it will be when the schools of the Special Group will use the same light and sound systems of the parade day. With innovative plots and exciting tributes, the associations seek not only to tune the show, but also to ensure unity and harmony between its components. The public is excited by the presentations full of energy and enchantment, a real warming for what is to come on the Avenue.

Every drum beat, every rehearsed step, every corner echoing in the Sambódromo is a harbinger of what will be the Carnaval 2025, which promises to be unforgettable. From that moment on, tension and emotion become palpable, as samba schools are a few weeks away from turning their rehearsals into grand parades that will once again delight Brazil and the world.

Pre-Carnaval tradition that gathers thousands of revelries a week from the beginning of the parades, the Samba Passarella Wash will be held on Sunday, 23/02, from 18h, in an event that marks the closure of free technical trials in Sapucaí. Aiming to bless the feast and spiritually prepare the ground for the parades, the ecumenical rite of the Lavage brings together children from the schools-mirins, masters room and bandeiras of all the associations, members of the old guards, the Afoxés Sons of Gandhi, Catholics, Umbandans and Candomblecists, among other religious and carnival groups.
