Five hotels in Rio appear in the ranking of the 50 Best in Brazil

The city of Rio once again stands out in the national hotel setting. In ranking “The 50 Best Hotels in Brazil 2025”, published by Exame Casual magazine, five Rio properties are among the best placed, highlighting the diversity of experiences offered in the capital, ranging from luxury to contemporary design, always by the sea.

O Copacabana Palace – The Belmond Hotel appears in second position. According to the report, the hotel celebrates over 100 years of history and has hosted great names of cinema, music and television.

In 11th place, the Emiliano Rio, also in Copacabana, unites Brazilian modernist architecture, sophistication and comfort. With 90 apartments distributed in eight categories, the hotel stands out for personalized service and the Burle Marx panel that welcomes guests at the entrance.

O Fairmont Rio de Janeiro, which occupies the 24th position, offers 375 rooms with design inspired in Rio of the 1950s, signed by architect Patricia Anastassiadis. Among the attractions are complete spa, swimming pools, beach activities such as beach tennis and stand up paddle, as well as ample leisure and relaxation spaces.

In the same 24th position, the Fasano Rio, in Ipanema, and the January Hotel, in the Leblon. The ranking shows how Rio manages to unite tradition and modernity, offering accommodation experiences ranging from historical glamour to contemporary design, always with the energy that enchants cariocas and tourists from all corners of the world.
