Cut Carnaval 2026 takes samba and joy to Terminal Gentleness on Thursday (5/2)

The climate of Carnaval will take care of the Gentleza Terminal on the morning of Thursday (5/2). From 7:30 a.m., those who circulate around the place will be received by the Court of Carnaval 2026 and the Municipal Guard band, in a special action idealized by VLT Carioca, in partnership with Riotur, the Municipal Guard and the BRT.

The initiative aims to bring joy, music and the carnival tradition to the users of the terminal in the early hours of the day, valuing the Rio culture and promoting a moment of relaxation during the daily displacement of the population.

With samba on the foot, costumes and musical performances, the action promises to make the morning light and festive, reinforcing the spirit of the Carnaval and bringing the country's largest popular party closer to the city's public spaces.

After the presentation at Terminal Gentleza, the Court of the Carnaval and the Municipal Guard band embark on the VLT, in a composition of Line 1, destined for the Museum Parade, taking the carnival animation also for the route and other points of the Rio Center.
