Check out the Rock in Rio 2026 line-up

Rock in Rio has begun to reveal the expected line-up of the 2026 edition, which will be held in the days 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 September, na Rock City, located in Olympic Park, na Barra da Tijuca. The program brings together great names of national and international music, as well as unprecedented meetings between artists.

The opening of the festival, on September 4, will have as its headliner Stage World the band Foo Fighters. The next day, the stage receives Avenged Sevenfold and Bring Me the Horizon.

On the Brazilian Independence holiday, on September 7, the World Stage promotes a special meeting between Elton John and Gilberto Gil, as well as presentations by Jon Batiste and Luísa Sonza, who invites Roberto Menescal. In the Sunset Stage, Laufey, Pericles with the project “Pericles sings Motown” and New Clothes, which receives Guilherme Arantes. On the other hand, the New Dance Order space will feature Fatboy Slim.

On September 11, the phenomenon of K-pop Stray Kids opens the World Stage, followed by Alok, with the show Keep Art Human And South Korean singer Hwasa. At the Sunset Stage, the confirmed attraction is Jamiroquai.

On the 12th, the World Stage welcomes Maroon 5 and Demi Lovato, while the Sunset Stage will have concerts by Mumford & Sons and João Gomes, accompanied by the Brazilian Orchestra.

The 2026 edition will also bring news in the structure of Rock City. The World Stage will gain a new set with more than 100 meters of extension and thousands of square meters of high-definition LED panels, creating unique visual experiences for each show. The New Dance Order space will also receive a new technological structure dedicated to electronic music.

Among the initiatives announced is the project “Long live Rio with Rock in Rio”, which will allow fans to use the entrance of the festival to access benefits and discounts in tourist attractions, hotels, bars and restaurants of the city. The program will still have a tribute to Bossa Nova.

Tickets have already begun to move the public. The Rock in Rio Card, which guarantees presence on a day of the event with later date choice, had its first batch sold out quickly. The organization will also announce the opening of official ticket sales.
