After winning over 200,000 spectators in Brazil and Portugal, the play “Two of Us” arrives in Rio for season at the Teatro AXIA Casa Grande, from July 23. The show gathers, for the first time in the theatre, Antonio Fagundes and Christiane Torloni, two of the most striking names of the national dramaturgy, alongside Thiago Fragoso and Alexandra Martins. With Gustavo's unpublished text Pinheiro and direction of José Possi Neto, the assembly will be on display until October 11, with presentations from Thursday to Sunday.
The comedy follows two couples from different generations who meet in a hotel room. From this encounter, secrets, lies and conflicts begin to emerge, leading the characters by a night marked by humor, emotion and twists. Themes such as routine, desire, money, affective relationships and frustrations appear on the scene under a contemporary and humorous look. The play is on until August 2.
