Lovely Face of Andronieva Petrosa in Sesc Tijuca

The show Lovely Face of Andronieva Petrosa premieres on April 23 at Sesc Tijuca, marking the first solo by actress Fabianna de Mello e Souza after more than four decades of career in group theater.

With Cecilia Ripoll's dramaturgy and Denise Stutz's direction, the montage proposes an analysis of authorship, memory and the limits between reality and fiction. On the scene, an actress receives an anonymous letter accusing her of plagiarism, triggering a process of personal investigation into the origin of her ideas.

The narrative unfolds from the memory of a character inspired by a supposed Russian tale: Andronieva Petrosa, a woman whose face is detached from her body to live another life. From this point on, the staging builds a metatheatral game that mixes times, versions and identities, transiting between humor, suspense and reflection. The season continues until May 17.
