IRONMAN 70.3 Rio de Janeiro returns to the city on August 9, bringing together about 2,000 athletes from different nationalities in one of the main stages of the triathlon world circuit, which has over 100 races held on all continents.

The competition challenges participants to complete 1.9 km of swimming, 90.1 km of cycling and 21.1 km of running, totaling 70.3 miles (113 km), distance that gives name to the event.
Crib triathlon brazil, Rio offers a unique scenario for the event, with routes through some of the city's best known postcards. The start of swimming takes place at Copacabana Beach, while the arrival will be at the Marina da Glória, where the IRONMAN Village also operates.
