CINEquanon, with Focus Cia de Dança, at the Carlos Gomes Theatre

Focus Cia de Dança presents “CINEQUANON”, a new assembly directed and choreographed by Alex Neoral that transforms sounds of the cinematographic universe into motion and experience sensing. On the scene, dialogues, noises, soundtracks and silences become stimuli for choreographic construction. From listening, dancers create gestures, displacements and different physical states, leading the public by an experience marked by experimentation and imagination.

Without following a linear narrative, “CINEQUANON” bets on a playful and immersive atmosphere, exploring the encounter between sound and dance to awaken perceptions, memories and affections. The assembly proposes new forms of interaction between artistic languages, placing the viewer at the center of sensory experience.

Besides the artistic direction of Alex Neoral, the creative team brings together names such as Tatiana Garcias in the direction of production and management, Binho Schaefer in lighting, André Vital and Monica Burity in costumes, in addition to the scenography signed by Márcio Jahú.
