The traditional snack contest "Botecar Rio" takes place between November 12th and December 14th, with the theme "art with hands". There will be 40 bars throughout the city that will participate in the dispute, inviting the public to prove unpublished creations and celebrate the culture of the botecos, so linked to the carioca identity.
Among the news this year are the Bar Brasil, on Lapa, and Bar Bracarense, in the Leblon, both recognized as Cultural Heritage Carioca. They also debut in the competition Café do Bom Cachaça Good at the Centre; February Two, led by chef João Diamante, in Health; and Baron, in Inhaúma. The winners Bar Botica, in Botafogo, and Fish in Brasa, in the Leblon, in addition to the newly inaugurated Download, Brisa, Canned vegetables and Bar Missing, complete the list of news.
