The British artist Blanco White presents on Tuesday (01/09), at 7:30 p.m., in the Theatre Rival Petrobras At the center. The performance takes place after the musician records his third album at Wolf Studios in Rio de Janeiro, and brings together a band formed by Brazilian musicians and collaborators based in London.
The show combines Blanco White's compositions with elements of Brazilian music, creating a dialogue between European references and Brazilian rhythms. On stage, the artist is accompanied by Pedro Fonte, on drums; Lucas Videla, on percussion; and Paulo Emmery, on bass, musicians who work in Rio de Janeiro.
Training Cam Potts, on guitar, and Charlie Schnurr, on violin, both collaborators based in London. The performance brings together musicians from both sides of the Atlantic in a show marked by musical and cultural exchange.
