Batuke do Pretinho in Vivo Rio

The “Batuke do Pretinho”, created by the multi-instrumentalist and producer Blackinho da Serrinha, begins its season 2025 on November 13, on the balcony of Vivo Rio, with Caetano Veloso as special guest of the premiere. The event appeared in 2021 and quickly consolidated as one of the largest celebrations of the genre in the city. In his debut, on the beach of Copacabana, he gathered about 120,000 people. In 2024, at the Jockey Club, he attracted 3,000 visitors a week during the summer. Names such as Marisa Monte, Martinho da Vila and Milton Nascimento have already participated in the wheel.

Created in Madureira, the musician carries in the curriculum a trajectory marked by tradition and innovation. Master of drums of the Serrano Empire at the age of 10, became a reference as a music producer and accumulates three Latin Grammys for Best Album of Samba/Pagode (2018, 2023 and 2024). He also signs known compositions of the general public, such as Bourgeoisinha, Felicidade and Mina do Condominio.

Throughout his career, he worked with artists such as Seu Jorge, Lulu Santos, Marisa Monte, Marcelo D2 and Xande de Pilares – with whom he produced the album Xande Canta Caetano (2023), awarded at the Latin Grammy.
