After passing through 25 Brazilian cities and being seen by more than 50,000 people, the show “The Sexyest Couple of America” arrives at the Clara Nunes Theatre for a short season from October 17th. The assembly, directed and adapted by Tadeu Aguiar, brings a combination of humor, romance and social criticism by addressing topics such as aging, gender equality and work ethics.
Starred by Vera Fischer, Leonardo Franco and Vitor Thiré, the comedy takes place behind the scenes of the entertainment industry and follows the reunion of two veteran actors who, decades earlier, formed one of the most famous couples on American television. Thirty years later, during the wake of a former colleague, they are faced with the chance to work together again — which arouses memories, conflicts and a new opportunity to start over.
