Passeio Público

First public space created in Brazil, at the time the country was a Portuguese colony, the Passeio Público was built in a grounded area, where before there was the Boqueirão lagoon, which went to the Arcos da Lapa. The original work is by Mestre Love, renowned sculptor and urbanist of colonial Brazil, who was also responsible for the works of Quinta da Boa Vista and Campo de Santana.
