SHOWCASE RIO

Rio is sea, it's all you make love, already said one of the many songs inspired by Rio's beauty. A city that spreads over 163 neighborhoods and has a population that knows how to embrace everyone who arrives here, without distinction of creed, race or gender. I am proud to be mayor of this paradise, surrounded by beautiful beaches, mountains, waterfalls and forests.

Rio de Janeiro is a city with a soul, protected by the Cristo Redentor, framed by the Pão de Açúcar and many other natural monuments. A captivating city, which vibrates with Carnaval, football, samba and carioquice itself, which has already become synonymous with lifestyle.

This is the best place in the world to live, have fun and also work and invest! The economy of Rio is heated. We brought the Web Summit into the city, the world's largest technology event, and we're going to host dozens of fairs, business events and international shows. We want to attract talent from various areas to Rio, offering incentives for investors. The idea is to transform Rio’s capital into one of Latin America’s leading innovation, culture and leisure centers.

Our national and international show schedule is booming. Our Carnaval is responsible for a third of all economic movement in the country during the period, and Réveillon of Copacabana as it always surprises.

I took over the Prefeitura do Rio in 2021 and I can guarantee that the goals partially achieved or not yet fulfilled will be pursued until the end of my management. The increase in the economy turns into job, income and more quality public services. We keep working, moving and moving, so this town is wonderful for everyone, every day!
